CARPENTER/SET BUILDER
- Overview of Responsibilities
- Coordination
- Read, review, and coordinate drawings provided by Production Management to develop a material takeoff and buildout schedule for Production Management approval
- Prefabricated Sectional Buildout
- Observing the schedule and materials inventory, build out and pre-fabricate all assigned sections of the set
- Load In and Load Out
- On the date(s) of load-in(s), assist in the general assembly of prefabricated sectionals
- On the date(s) of strike(s), assist with the general deconstruction of all sectionals and support efforts to transport sectionals to designated facilities
- Coordination
- Ability & Expertise
- Read & comprehend technical schematics, renderings, and drawings
- Safe & effective use of power tools
- An above-average working knowledge of the safe, structural composition of pre-designed set sections with strict observance to universal construction and carpentry conventions
- Compensation
- Stipend or trade for tickets/publicity per production
- Volunteers to assist and gain experience are welcome to apply for unpaid, carpentry support with potential for future opportunities

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR (UNPAID, AMBASSADOR ROLE)
- Overview of Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a program to engage volunteers, upholding MTC’s mission to create artistic opportunities and community enrichment
- Manage and grow the volunteer database
- Ensure expectation setting for volunteer activity with clear documentation and communication
- Identify and recognize volunteers who go above-and-beyond and/or those who may be interested in serving as MTC Ambassadors (high-level volunteers who manage a specific function, year-round)
- Ability & Expertise
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Alignment with MTC’s mission and values: Passion, Proactivity, Humility, Respect
- On average, 4-8 hours per week

- Based on provided guidance, administer regular and as-needed updates to mariettatheatre.com
- Ability & Expertise
- Experience with WordPress
- Interest in working independently and remotely with guidance and support provided by the MTC Marketing Committee
- Alignment with MTC’s mission and values: Passion, Proactivity, Humility, Respect
- On average, 0.5 – 2 hours per week (workload shifts based on production timing)
